Dr. Stanzin Chostak, is Assistant Professor. He did his LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University and LL.M. from the same faculty. He has completed his PhD from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi on the topic ‘Impact of Climate Change on Mountain and Downstream Communities: A socio-legal study with special reference to Ladakh. Prior to joining Delhi University he has worked at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He is the recipient of the prestigious Prof. L.R. Sivasubramanian Memorial Gold Medal in Comparative Jurisprudence (LL.M.) awarded by the University of Delhi during its annual Convocation in 2011. His areas of interest are Environmental Law, Jurisprudence, International Law, Law of torts and Criminology. He has participated and presented papers in numerous national and international seminars and conferences. He has publications in reputed national journals.
