Ms. Apanjot Kaur is an Assistant Professor of Law at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi since January 2015. After completing LL.B (Hons.) from University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, she obtained her LL.M. degree from National Law Institute University, Bhopal with specialization in Business Laws and is currently pursuing Ph.D. from National Law University, Delhi. She is UGC-NET qualified. She has also worked as a Research Assistant with Dr Tamara Relis, Barrister, Professor, Touro Law School, London School of Economics and Columbia University. She was awarded ‘Scroll of Honour’, by International Council of Jurists, All India Bar Association and All India Senior Advocates Association, on the occasion of ‘International Council of Jurists Awards, 2009. She also has experience of teaching at School of Law, Galgotias University. Apart from this she has participated and presented papers in various seminars and conferences. She has authored books titled, ‘First Sale Doctrine in a Copyright Realm’ and ‘Plea Bargaining’. She has also acted as a member of the Executive Council of the Indian Society of Criminology, Bhopal Chapter. Her areas of interest are Jurisprudence, Arbitration, Negotiation and Conciliation, Competition Law, Family Law, Law of Contract and Special Contracts.
