Dr. Narender Nagarwal, Assistant Professor (Selection Grade), Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi specializes in Constitutional Law, Minorities Law, Media Law and International Human Rights Law. He earned his LL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Besides having Ph.D. in Constitutional Law, he has qualification of UGC NET in Law and Political Science. He is widely known for his writing in critical areas of Citizenship Law, Secularism Studies and Minorities Rights. Prior to joining Faculty of Law, University of Delhi he was associated with University of North Bengal in Darjeeling and also worked at Pondicherry Central University in Puducherry. He has regularly spoken at a variety of constitutional law and other conferences and his preferred area of discourse are-Constitutional Studies, Human Rights and Police Reforms etc.
Apart from teaching, he is a prolific author who has written numerous research articles, study papers, and book chapters. He is on the advisory board of law journals of international repute. From 2012 until 2018, he served as Editor of the Indian Journal of Law and Justice, a publication under the UGC Care List. His academic work also reflects a special interest in his research in the area of Comparative Constitutional Law, South Asian Studies, and International Affairs. Apart from teaching and research responsibilities, he is managing CLC website affairs and also holds the responsibility as Convenor of the Purchase Committee and Building Maintenance Committee, Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
